Hawkinson Kia - 2011 Kia Optima
Based off the recently redesigned Hyundai Sonata, Kia Optima gets similar four-cylinder only powertrain choices including the brands first-ever hybrid. Engine management systems such as direct injection and turbocharging to improve performance from its predecessors, without sacrificing the fuel efficiency for which Kias are known.

Longer, wider and lower than the vehicle it replaces, it features the recent Kia design language the bold tabbed grille flanked by projector headlamps, sweeping chrome trim enhancements, and sculpted flanks with boldly flared wheel arches for a muscular stance.
The 2011 Kia Optima interior is functional without being plain. Among the standard features are six way adjustable driver's seat, satellite radio, AUX and USB ports, Bluetooth and trip computer. Tilt and telescoping steering wheel, 60/40 split folding rear seats, power windows and locks, and a cooling glove box are also standard.
The 2011 Kia Optima moving up through trim levels packs on additional equipment such as panoramic sunroof, cruise control, push-button start, dual zone climate control, leather upholstery and trim, power front seats and heated seats all around. Wood and metal trim pieces adorn the higher trim levels (which have yet to be set).
The 2011 Kia Optima of interest is a Sync like system called UVO (also developed in partnership with Microsoft) that adds a rearview camera. Like Fords Sync system, UVO allows the driver to use voice commands to control function such as music playback, navigation and heating and ventilation.
The 2011 Kia Optima Turbo model adds sportiness to the interior, too, with unique black leather, metal pedals and lit metal door sills.
The 2011 Optima gets power from three sources - a 2.4-litre direct injection four-cylinder engine, a 2.0-litre turbocharged or the combination of the 2.4-liter engine and electric motor.
All are available with a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters (standard with the turbo and hybrid powertrains; optional with the 2.4L unit) and a six speed manual transmission as standard with the 2.4L engine.
The 2011 Kia Optima ride and handling is entrusted to front MacPherson struts and anti-roll bars, and rear multi-link with coils.
The 2011 Kia Optima among the standard safety features are front airbags, front side impact airbags and side air curtains, front active headrests, antilock brakes with brake assist, stability control, traction control and hill assist control.
