Chicago Kia Dealer Hawkinson Kia Offering $100 For Customer Referrals
Most Chicago Kia dealers give Chicago Kia customers $25 or $50 to refer a friend to their dealerships. Not Hawkinson Kia. The owners Jim and Bob Hawkinson have upped the ante by offering $100 for customer referrals.
"Word of mouth has always been our best form of advertising" said Bob Hawkinson, one of the owners. "But, one day Jim and I got to talking about how much money we spend on advertising and how much it equates per car. Jim said it's about $100 per car sold. So, we agreed to drop the advertising and send a letter to every customer and offer them the $100 if they send a friend or relative in to see us and they buy a car."
The response has been fantastic so far. Many of our Kia customers are repeat buyers and often Mom and Dad buy a car, have a great experience, then they come in with their son or daughter. Now, we'll give Mom and Dad $100 for bringing in their child! "Why not," said Jim, "It's better we give the money to a loyal customer than to the Newspaper or Cable TV company."
